For Sale - A true grail car. An original and GENUINE - 1966 Mk 1 GT Cortina barn find.
2 doors and just one owner from new. 67000 miles. No previous owners on V 5. Stored since 1984 per original tax disc in the front screen. Correct BA 77 chassis number. Car is matching numbers with original locks etc. The engine is free moving.
Has some period mods such as twin 40's and bucket seats. This is the real deal and is the genesis of the entire Ford motor sport program.
Car is largely original and has not been restored. Will require a medium level restoration but is an amazing project for the hardcore enthusiast.
If you can actually find a genuine RHD 2 door GT it will probably have been badly restored in the 70's once or even twice so here's your chance to restore this car correctly and accurately.
A great investment given the increasing values of old racing Fords.
