Model 356 ferry Porsche actually started a new era. It was the first car with the trademark of Porsche, prototype first appeared on the streets in 1948, it used engine Volkswagen. Improved model 356A appeared in 1955, in two versions - Speedster and Carrera, then, in 1959, appeared 3568, modified externally and with a more powerful engine, the latest model, 356S, appeared in 1963, and two years later it was replaced with 911. The 356, as in the Beetle, there was a spring suspension and torsions in the rear and in the front part of the torsionny set with longitudinal levers of suspension. The engine is made on the basis of the engine VW, the system of cooling of supercharged air, but it turned out to be more complex, with a better balancing, improved bandwidth and the ability to more freely rotate. The best model was considered Carrera, with four shafts able to develop speed of 201 km/h.
