Peugeot 205 Gti is a compact car produced by the French engineering company Peugeot in the period from 1986 through 1993-the third year. The machines were equipped with a body В«3-door hatchbackВ».
Cars Peugeot 205 Gti equipped benzinnym engine XU5J capacity of 105 HP engine and a manual transmission. Later the engine was replaced with a new engine, which was able to develop the capacity of up to 126 horsepower. Cars accelerated up to 97 km/h in just 9 seconds. The maximum speed reached a mark of 200 km/h. Inside the cabin were the leather seats. Among technical characteristics can be identified drum brakes at the rear wheels. One of the differences between the model 205 Gti from series 205 - availability of the plastic wheel niche, a large bumper and decorative strips along the body. The machine also transformed, among which - wide niche fender, low suspension, stabilizer of transverse stability.
In the first years of production of the model Peugeot 205 Gti was in great demand in Europe, but in 90-s of the sale was sharply reduced because of sky-high insurance premiums.
