Morgan 4/4
Morgan 4/4 was the first car company Morgan Motor with four wheels. He appeared in 1936. Model designation "4-4" (later "4/4") meant that the car stood four-wheel drive and four-cylinder engine. Early models Morgan were trehkolesnymi cars, as a rule, with V-shaped engine.
With only one break during the Second world war and in the period from March 1951 on September 1955) model 4/4 has been in continuous production from its beginnings until the present day. During this period the working volume of the engine is increased from 1122 cubes (motor Coventry Climax in 1936) to 1.8-liter motor Ford in 2004.
In total, there were issued 5 series models Morgan 4/4, as well as two more recent version - 1600 and 1800. Only the first series was a 4-local variant of the layout of the body.
