Jaguar XJ Series 1
The first series of cars Jaguar XJ was produced from 1968 to 1973. These spacious and very comfortable sedans have become popular thanks to its excellent high-speed performance, as well as the price, which was not that low, but quite realistic.
Cars Jaguar XJ were equipped with engines 2790 cm3, Jaguar XJ6 - 4235 cm3. All XJ6 were equipped with power steering, XJ could also have it, but only at the optional procedure. Initially was available only manual gearbox, however, in 1970 there were also modifications with automatic gearboxes.
In 1972 started printing Jaguar XJ12, the distinctive feature of which was the V-shaped dvenadcaticilindrovyy the engine with a volume of 5345 cm3 in conjunction with the 4-speed mechanics Borg Warner. This tandem could please the owners of the speed of 225 km/h. Also was available automatic transmission, however, the performance characteristics of these vehicles were lower.
