Mini Clubman

In 1969 at the initiative of the Corporation British Leyland, mark Mini was subjected to "facelifting". This work was entrusted to the designer Roy Haynes, previously worked in the Ford.

New re-styling version was called the Mini Clubman and had a new "cubic" design both from the front and from behind.
Were also released a new version of the wagon and wagon, and also charged 1275GT. In spite of the fact that the new model was more secure and better equipped, the demand for classic Mini (which remained in production) was still higher. Ultimately, in the early 80s to replace the Mini Clubman, a new model of the Austin Metro.

In just 11 years of production were built: 275 thousand classical Clubman, 197 thousand estates and 110 thousand sports 1275GT.
