De Tomaso Vallelunga
Vallelunga was very rare srednemotornym sports cars with rear-wheel drive production company De Tomaso from 1964 to 1968.
Vallelunga was based on rodstere developed Carozzeria Fissore and named in honour of the motor-racing track Autodromo di Vallelunga. The car was first shown as a concept car at the Turin motor show in 1964. De Tomaso had hoped to sell the design of the concept car of another company, perhaps, the Ford, but when no one is interested in the purchase of the car was given over to the production company Ghia.
In-line 4-cylinder engine 1.5l from the Ford Cortina with 104 HP. (78 kW) at 6200 rpm of the company's production Kent is installed on this machine. The frame was made of pressed steel with tubular frame. The suspension was a double wishbone, and springs on all four corners and the stand taken from the model Triumph. Small car weighed 726 kg with a body made of fiberglass, and many of aluminium components were hollow. Disc brakes on all four wheels.
There were 53 of the car in the back of the coupe and just one machine Spider.
