Looking for a loving home to bring him back to the BEAUTY he once was!!
This 1957 Type 1 Split screen van is the perfect project. Low starting price and not a silly one! He has come from a dry place and chassis is solid. The floor in the back has been changed at some point but not a bad job. There is rust in parts but the most important parts are rust free - window posts. wheel arches. battery & engine compartment. There is also a little rust on the floor of the front cabin & at the back corner. nothing that a handy welder couldn't sort out! I've uploaded pix of the worst of the rust. he does need some body work. He has an original engine that needs looking at but I have been told it could run. Considering he is 57 years old he doesn't look too bad for an Ol' Fella. just needs a bit of love n tender care.  
All customs taxes have been paid. he just needs to be registered in the UK. which is not a hard process.
If you're after a project van to put your mark on then this one is perfect. Its empty inside. a blank canvas!

The van is in South Gloucester at the moment. not Bristol as it states in this listing.
