Offered for sale is my beautiful bug. I'm off to Spain for a while and she deserves a better life than being kept in storage.
This vehicle was 'created' in California in the mid 90's. it's not Cal-Look. it's the real thing!  In 2007 she arrived in the UK and was proudly displayed in a car showroom for the next 3 years. I purchased her late in 2010. She was registered. taxed. mot'd and on the road by early 2011.
The roof has been chopped about 50% at the front and 40% at the back - done really well. you can't see any joins! With big & little tyres. she has a lovely rack to the bodyline. The twin carb. twin port. 1600+ engine was 'modified' in the US too.  Will cruise all day at 70 but can do 80. returning 30mpg. 12 volt alternator upgrade and new battery. All steel body panels. all glass (no perspex). no signs of welding on chassis. All of the Empi style wheels and tyres are like new. Obviously. she's left hand drive (LHD). All seats and panels were recovered and are still in great condition. To top this off is a Goldi Rag Top sun roof. She's ultra reliable. runs and sounds great with brilliant road holding thanks to gas shocks all round.
