FOR SALE: BMW E21 323i

FOR SALE: This is an excellent and super original example of the legendary BMW E21 323i. The last owner has had the car for 27 years and the previous owner to him had the car from new and it comes with an amazing history file.

The exterior of the car is in excellent shape never having any restoration or welding work and the car is arrow straight down both sides. still sporting its original pin stripes. The car has been garaged so the paint still looks fresh and the chrome and plastic trim is all in good condition. All of the glass is original. free from chips and etched with the registration number. There are a few chips that have been touched in and a tiny amount of surface (not structural) starting in a couple of places that will need attending to at some point to prevent it getting any worse.

The interior defies the miles and age of the car. remaining in excellent condition. It still smells fresh when you open the door and the seats and carpets are free from any wear. even the original over mats are in excellent condition. The dash is free from any cracks and all of the other plastic trim is in excellent condition including the headlining. A period Pioneer radio is fitted with some old school speakers on the back shelf (not cut in). and the E21 comes with an original Nardi steering wheel and gearknob. The boot area is bone dry and smells fresh. all the tools and the spare wheel are present and correct.

The steel wheels are all in good shape and are shod in a top quality set of Goodyear tyres all of which have plenty of tread.
Mechanically this 323i is fantastic. we have sold several other lower mileage examples but this one is the best drive. The engine is silky smooth and provides plenty of power giving some lively acceleration and the steering suspension and brakes all feel tight and responsive. You can really feel how well this car has been looked after and it puts a huge grin on your face!

The car comes with a very comprehensive history file that contains the original BMW service book that is stamped till 83k. There is then a hand written journal where every service and any other mechanical work has been noted with the date and mileage. All of this is further backed up with all the old MOT certificates and all the invoices for parts used. Every replacement part or service item has been purchased direct from BMW. The 323i also has all its spare keys and the original owners manual.
