Welcome to the sale of my wifes MK2 Escort 1600 Ghia (one of the last 1981 W) in gleaming Terracotta with only 71. 00 miles from NEW with FSH and all mot"S present since 1984

This is an original car with low owners and as above has FSH. with ALL mot"s back from when the car was just 3 years old. nbsp;everything exept for the steering wheel (which will be removed and replaced with the standard Ghia item is original on this car) No speakerholes in the door cards either just the single speaker under the dash as originally fitted from NEW.

The interior is unmarked and in Chocolate brown.

The brakes were replaced last year which inclued ALL brake lines front to back. nbsp;x2 New front calipers. new discs. and pads and rear brake shoes together with x2 wheel cylinders. the car stops like new.

We are enthusiasts and pictured above is my MK2 Mexico. we are only selling as my wife would like a Mk1 now.

Engine gearbox diff etc are fantastic with no wines smoke etc. it really is a fantastic reliable car that i know the NEW owner will be very happy with.

The car has had welding done in the normal places but is solid. the interior is out at the moment so the NEW buyer can be satisfied that they are buying a rot free car. we will put the interior back before the car is sold.

Passenger door inside has some rot but dosent show from the outyside. thought i would mention it. i want to be honest.
