I love this old car. t has stolen the show at a couple cruise ins that I have taken it to. No one has seen one before. It is one of 21 station wagons known to exist of the 79 that were built in 58 and I'm guessin it's the only orange one. lol. It was originally a puke beige with a brown top and I just couldn't do that. My reason for putting it on here is because I have way too many cars right now and I don't have enough indoor space for all of them. It always starts right up and runs down the road. ll the exterior lights work properly although it has a toggle for the turn signals. brakes are good. ransmission is a little bit flakey but it always gets there. t has some cracked glass and typical rattles and creaks going down the road for a 56 year old Studebaker. It's a blast to drive. It had one piece of trim on the left taillight that's broken and I have a replacement piece for it but have not tried to install it yet. The floorboards had a few holes in them and we welded some sheet metal patches in there. The lower ears quarters are pretty ugly under the paint. f the car doesn't sell I'll be re doing them but the car is so bizzare that no one really notices them. There's a place by the RR spring shackle that needs to be plated but it doesn't seem to hurt anything(that is pictured). She has a low mile 4. 7 Studebaker LS engine out of a 1958 Packard hawk but someone kept the supercharger when they put it in this car. There is a front seat out of a 1970 Cadillac in it but I also kept the original seat for it(looks like hell). Tires are real good. 'm sure it would love a new set of shocks. t's pretty gushy. I'm sure I'll think of more stuff to add to this later on.

There were 159(not 79) of these wagons built in 1958 and this was the final year for the Packard name. And there is no heater or AC in the car right now.
