hello all this is the heart breaking sale of my frogeye its sold with all the blood sweat and tears that have gone in so far.

starting from the begining i aquired this car 3 years ago and from the outlook it didnt look too bad after wheeling it in the garage but then jacked it up and it fell apart like a clown car so began the long process of buying parts and welding even though the fiberglass bonnet had kept the front in pretty good nic the rear also was fiberglass but i managed to get hold of a bonnet that needs some typical work i do have some new bits to go on it. as for the rear i managed to buy 2 new rear wings new wing beading and a friend of mine had a second centre section thats not bad at all. and all this is now fitted to the car.

most of the car is now new heres a small list of some of the new parts on the main shell

complete new rear bulkhead including spring hanger boxs. radius arm boxes. really good second hand springs. spring hanger plates. all bulkhead reinforcements.

as you can see lots and ive probably forgotten lots the reg is (6555 nc) as for the rest of the bits theres the original 948cc engine with 1 1/8 carbs smooth original gearbox almost all the other bits to finish the car are there as it was a whole car when i started including all the original bits that are hard to get hold of like all the correct dials dashboard without the radio blanking plate removed original riveted wheels the list goes on and on most of these bits will require restoration.

the car is a 3 owner car i am in contact with the previous 2 and they have both written me amazing storys of there ownership of the car and i have the e-mail address of the chap who owns the original green log book and a photo i have scanned copys of both of these i also have a current v5 in my name and the beige one from the 80s and its sorn
