1969 VW Volkswagen RHD Karmann Ghia with Tax & MOT.

Up for sale is my 1969 Right Hand Drive VW Karmann Ghia.
I have been told that there are only 10 or 11 RHD 1969 ghias left in the UK. so this is a rare one!
I have owned this car for around a year. I bought it off a classic car collector in Northern Ireland who bought it in the late 1990's in England. then he brought it over to Northern Ireland. parked it up & never really bothered with it after that.
The underside is SOLID. As are the wheel arches. the previous owner put it up on a pillar lift before I bought it. & the condition of the floor pans was a huge factor in me buying it.
The original 1500cc engine has been replaced at some point with a 1584cc engine. so it has a bit extra power!
As I bought it in Northern Ireland I sent the V5 off & now I am the first registered keeper. but I think if you send the log book off over here. then you will be the first registered keeper.
Since I have bought it it has now got a new MOT & been taxed for the first time in over a decade! I drove it from Northern Ireland to Cheshire at the start of January. & last week it had the engine serviced with new push rods installed. & its running like a dream! 
I have had a CD player installed. but instead of cutting holes for the speakers I got a pair of vintage ones & they sit in the rear parcel shelf. the wires run up either side of the seats. but I done this so that they can be easily removed. there was a blaupoint radio with a chrome surround in it when i bought it. which will be included. so the cd player can be removed & the surround will cover the hole :)
The license plates look rubbish. but I have a set of pressed ones to go onto it too. there is a spare tire included that has never been on the road since I bought it last year. the interior is very original. though the previous owner has drilled 2 holes in it to install a horn button & a switch for the fog lights.
The not so good.
In the spirit of honesty. here are the problems that I know of. I am not mechanically minded at all. so I am just pointing out bits that I think would need sorted to get it up to a show car.
The seals could be replaced in the future. No aerialThe Key doesnt open the passenger door. not a huge problem as it can just be opened from inside. Wing mirror is broken. the glass is cracked & it needs tightened. Bottom of doors paint is bubbling. on the passenger. driver & engine lid. as well as a tiny bit above the nose grills. The handbrake needs tightened. I usually leave it in gear anyway since its an old car. The passenger widow winder needs tightened. it still works if you push the winder in. but it still works. The wiper motor could do with being replaced in the future. sometimes it decides not to work. but the mechanic sorted it when he serviced the engine. There is no heating inside. My mechanic says it needs new cables. & thats it. an easy fix. The fuel gauge isn't working for some reason.
All of these problems are not urgent. they can be left alone if the buyer so chooses.  
Apart from this. all that it really needs is a clean inside!
It is a beautiful car. everybody loves it & it is a real head turner! You wont be disappointed!
Buyer to paypal a £500 deposit within 24 hours of auction ending. the balance to be paid in cash or bank transfer before or on collection.
Must be collected by the 27th of February as I will be away that weekend & don't want to leave it alone at home (roadside parking)
Please do not bid unless you actually plan on buying it. for the price that the winning bid is. don't turn up & try to haggle.
