1976 (R) Triumph Dolomite Sprint With Overdrive, MOT 6th February 2015

NO ADVISORIES ON MOT

Last owner only bought the car in 2011 but the previous owner to that bought the car in 1990 so had it for 21 years.

Mileage is showing as 90. 71 and the last MOT in 1996 was showing 90. 82 so it does appear that the mileage is genuine……. see old MOTs Below.

Engine HAS had work done to it in the past. It has been re-bored because the top of the pistons all show +40. Has Very Good Oil Pressure.  

Car HAD been off the road and stored in a dry garage for approximately 16 years and I bought it as part restored.

Although the car is 37 years old and it has had work done to it. there is very little evidence of welding. so it has either had very little welding in its life or it has been done to a very high standard. It is solid underneath and all body panels are in good condition. so it WILL NOT need any new panels or welding.

I have also had all the carpets out and the floors look original and in very good condition and there is NO MENTION of any corrosion issues in any of the old MOTs. so it is a very solid original car.

I was also told by the person I bought the car from that the only reason the car was resprayed was because the paint was peeling and it wouldn't shine properly when polished.
