UK ONLY. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY PLEASE!! LOCATION IS SELSEY. CHICHESTER. THIS HAS ALSO BEEN LISTED ON OTHER SITES. 1957 L. H. D VW Split screen Panel Van. 1500cc single port engine. MOT and TAX EXEMPT and is used daily on the road. It has a 1963 camping interior. which includes: Two bench seats a table a wardrobe. cupboards and cool box. 1963 fuel gauge fitted. Imported by my wife and I in 2008. all duties have been paid. It's first MOT was in June 2010 and it's last MOT ran out in June 2012 and became MOT Exempt in November 2012. Works completed on the van are: Replaced hand brake mechanism. Brake master cylinders. Brake hoses and pipe work. New brake shoes and adjusters. New clutch cable. New accelerator cable. Replaced the 6 volt dynamo with a 12 volt alternator. Headlamps changed from sealed beam to use halogen units. Van has been lowered on drop spindles on front. and one spline on rear. Lower profile tyres fitted. to give it a nice stance. I have had the inner sill. the strengthener and outer sill replaced under the cargo doors. Long sill. inner and outer need replacing. inner and outer sill replacement panels supplied). Also. front driver side jacking point needs replacing. jacking point repair panel supplied). Wheel well needs repair. (repair panel supplied). Small patch on cargo floor needs repair. (repair panel supplied).
