Bombardier Lynx GLX 5900 FCE.

Ex Ministry of Defence.  Delivered in to Service on 22nd Feb 2000.

2 Cylinder. Twin Autolube Carbs. Electric start & easy pull cord. Lights front & back. Heated Grips. Hydraulic Disc Brake & Handbrake. 2 Speed Gearbox plus Reverse. Auxilliary power sockets. Tow pintle & lights socket. New & original tool set with new Plugs. New Screen & track wheels just fitted.

It has some spares which will come with the Lynx. as can be seen in the underseat storage.

It's an easy starter with good compression. Not had much use by looks of it as it's only showing 885 Kilometers and the Track looks like New - See pic.

These have a really wide track compared to most i have looked at. so would imagine they have great traction for towing or pulling stuck objects.

There is a trailer for these called a Paulk. which i have seen on various sites. which should fit straight on. having the correct tow hitch & maybe even electrics.

I also have an Aluminium Long Range fuel tank with a gauge that fits in the rear meshed storage area if anyone wants it. but it will be at an extra cost of £40.

It's got a bit of surface rust here & there. but nothing serious. There are a couple of switches that I have no idea what they do. Overall it's pretty good for a 14 Year old vehicle.

I also have a letter from the 'Defence Equipment and Support Disposal Services Authority' stating it's details and will enable the buyer to get an Age related number plate and registration if you intend to use on Public highways ! They call it an 'OVERSNOW RECONNAISSANCE VEHICLE CENTRE TRACK DRIVE SKI STEER SUPACAT SNOW SCOOTER'. Mouthful or what.
