1985 Mercedes 280E petrol automatic W123. MOT to Sept 2022The most beautiful thing I've ever owned. I have a new job starting abroad so cannot keep the car sadly. It's in fantastic condition. All the major restoration work has been completed, making it ideal for a classic daily.1985 was the final and best year for the w123 and this 2.8L injected engine is a real joy to drive. It will also be MOT and tax free in a couple of years. Huge history included of all services and work carried out by Mercedes dealership and classic specialists only. I had all the rubber fuel lines replaced last week and everything works as it should (including the windows and sunroof), the heating is toasty warm and of course, if you know these cars, this mileage is nothing and it drives like a dream.Beige cloth interior (spotless and comfy), cruise control and lovely refurbed alloys too. All the chrome work is in fantastic condition, as is the wooden dash. It had a new water pump, belts, a new rad, new arches and a re-spray in the last couple of years and is free of rust in all the places where it matters. I'm not a dealer or mechanic, just an enthusiast and this is my car. All the work I've had done has been by Just Historics in Hastings.I'm yet to see one as beautiful as mine and I am sad to have to sell it because of work.
