Completely Restored 1970 MG Midget with Ashley GT Hardtop - Healey Sprite for sale

With much regret. I'm listing my lovely little Midget for sale. The pictures speak for themselves – it's a ‘Blaze' car with a very rare Ashley roof. This is a bargain price for a very. very clean car. The roof alone is worth in excess of £1000!
Before I bought the car. it had just had a major restoration. which included:
• Brand new front and rear wings• Brand new doors (skins and frames)• New sills and COMPLETE floor pans (no patches here!)• New boot floor• Brand new Bonnet • Full engine and gearbox rebuild• New carpets. recon dashboard and rebuilt instruments• New seats with new foam. along with a BRAND NEW hood which fits very tightly and does not leak! The boot lid (also a new panel!) will be included so you can switch back to soft-top. This will take half an hour or so to do. • New alloy wheels all round. (with new Michelin tyres recently fitted)• Endless other new ancillary parts.
I have a good deal of receipts available from this restoration. Since purchasing. I have uprated the car further. having fitted the following:
• The Ashley roof. which is in very good condition (does have some spidering which would be easily removable with some time)• Alternator conversion• An Aldon Amethyst Mappable Ignition System (Google for more info!)• A straight-through stainless rear silencer. rather than the cross-box system – it sounds much better now but isn't overly loud!• ‘SU' logo air filters which are very similar to the K&N type. and are much better than the cheap £10 filters that everyone fits. which draw the air in at too tight an angle for good airflow. • Earlier rear lights. which I think complement the Ashley roof better
The car has been featured regularly in Classics Monthly magazine. as I am a contributor and write a monthly ‘Staff Diary'. The car has featured in this a great deal!It's taxed and MOTd. and is ready to go. It has been in regular use and has covered around 15. 00 miles since the rebuild with excellent reliability. Like with any classic car. it is not absolutely mint. so there are little things that need improving. but there is nothing that would stop you from using the car straight away.

Please take your time looking through the photos – I am not trying to hide anything from prospective buyers. like the vast majority of people on eBay these days. Just check my feedback. and you'll see that I'm a completely honest seller.  Do remember that there is no substitute for coming to see the bike yourself.

I strongly recommend viewing the motorcycle if you plan to buy. I've described it as well as I can. It is sold as seen with no warranty. and it must be inspected before you hand over any money. All funds must be cleared before the bike can be taken away. UK BIDDERS ONLY. PLEASE! 
The bike must be collected from my home in Hulme. Manchester. M15. If you have ANY questions – please ask them BEFORE buying.

I can potentially arrange delivery by trailer at extra cost. but again. the bike must be inspected before you pay me.
