This vehicle was refurbished in late 2011 and has been stored since then. It has been taken for a run from time to time but has done less than 100 miles since it's rebuild.
It belongs to a local garage proprietor who has asked me to sell it for him on ebay.
The vehicle was stripped and resprayed as a bare shell and all repairs were carried out at this time. (New panels. welding etc). The wings. bonnet. doors and engine cover were sprayed as seperate items and the chassis was undersealed.
The engine was rebuilt ----- New crankshaft and bearings. new camshaft and cam followers. new pistons and barrels. gaskets seals etc.
The gearbox is in perfect working order and a new clutch fitted.
The brakes. steering and suspension had new parts as needed.
5 aloy wheels with low mileage tyres were fitted.
A Mountney steering wheel and new carpets were fitted and all seats were recovered to a standard VW pattern.
