1964 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Volkswagen Beetle - Classic. 1964 VW Baja Bug - California Car , 1600cc Engine , 5 x 205mm, 4 speed with berg shifter, 12vdc , Swing Axle, Single CarbBought the Bug back in 2017 from Ridgecrest California and had it shipped to me in South Florida, Since it got here it pretty much has been sitting in storage. It had a fresh 1600cc engine put in sometime before I got it, the engine is strong, it starts right up, the clutch is good too. I had the brakes worked on, had a new master cylinder, one of the wheel cylinders and front shoes put in. The brakes still aren't solid, I believe they need to be bled. Right before I got the car the previous owner also put on a new set of tires, I believe they're toyos. The interior is in good shape, with good door panels and good seats. The headliner is also in good shape along with the windows and the seals around them, as is the carpet.    It runs and drives just fine, no smoke, idles. I have a disc brake conversion as well as with drop spindles for it, along with Gabriel Hijacker AIrshocks (a complete set of 4). I had intended to drop the car and use the airshocks as a air ride like system (there are plenty of videos on youtube on it). I never got around to it, have too many other projects going and too many other cars so its time for this one to find a new home. It's been driven maybe 10 times by me since 2017. It was started about once or twice a month so that I could move it around my warehouse where it's been sitting for the past 4 years. It hadn't seen a drop of rain until August when I got it out of the warehouse and bought it home (had to make space for another project car). It is a car from 1964 and as such is not perfect, however it is in good solid shape. A car doesn't survive for 50 plus years without someone taking care of it, and this car was loved, it's awesome just to look at it and if I had the space I would not be selling it. I would like it to go to a good home where it gets driven, like it has been it's whole life. It's an authentic, 1960s California Baja.The wiring should be redone, a new harness and an afternoon or two should do itBrakes need to be bled, had the master cylinder, and one of the front wheel cylinders changed along with the shoes. Don't think the mechanic adjusted the brakes or he did a lousy job bleeding them. The fender beading needs to be put in on the front fenders. When the brakes were done the guy took the front fenders off and the nose of the car and did a lousy job of putting them back on. I have the new beading , just never got around to doing it.Front seal on the hood needs to be put in, have it as well.
