Wheels/tyres good - 60% tread on all tyres. Suspension good but creaks at the front, it is greased regularly! No power steering - so effort is required at parking!! Steering is tight and true.BRAKES - Recent new front discs and pads, brakes straight. Handbrake excellent.GEARBOX & O/D - All gears select and no dropping out of gear, O/D works as it should in 4th & 5th. Rear seal sometimes leaves a drip or two on the garage floor.  Clutch is good, no slippage.ENGINE - Pulls well throughout the rev range, a little smokey on cold but OK once warm. I replaced all the valve stem seals last year. It is still running on the fibre timing gear and as far as I know does not have unleaded exhaust valves, I use additive. Carb has K&N filter and manual choke. Obviously, this is not the original engine as oil dipstick is on the LHS and heads are D port. INTERIOR - In good condition overall, door cards have a couple of vinyl repairs, Recaro front seats are in good condition with light patina. Wood veneer dash has cracks but not unsightly - see pics. Headlining is good apart from a small deliberate cut to access aerial nut! ELECTRICS - All switches/dials/gauges work apart from rear screen heater (connection lug broken). TO SUMMARIZE - A good usable improved Scimitar, ready to use and improve if required.
