The Triumph Vitesse was produced from 1962 until 1971. first called “Vitesse 6” with 1600cc engine. then in 1966 it was substantially revised and fitted with the 95bhp 2-litre engine from the GT6. Finally in 1968 the Vitesse MK2 arrived with 104bhp from the tweaked 2-litre straight six. Marketed in its day as the “two-seater beater” the Vitesse did have superior performance to an MGB or an Alpine.

This car is a 1969 Vitesse MK2 that came to us in part exchange on a more expensive classic and is in beautiful condition. The sweet six cylinder engine runs well with strong oil pressure. the gearbox is slick and the overdrive comes in and out as it should. The body and paintwork are excellent. with very good panel gaps and the interior trim and hood are both in good order and free from tears.

Ready to use with long MOT and classic (free) tax.
