Reluctant sale of much-loved 1989 Alfa Romeo Spider Convertible (has been converted to right hand drive). Owned for 17 years. 

NON RUNNER due to broken bell housing. Aluminium will need to be welded. Gearbox appears to be okay but may need work. Otherwise in good working order with inevitable wear and tear. Was preparing to put up for auction when the break occurred so cutting losses and selling as is. Will need to be collected by tow truck from roadside (buyer organises / pays) in North London NW3.

Beautiful, characterful, and increasingly rare classic looking for a new lease of life. Plenty of repairs and improvements have been made it in the last 17 years; of course more work will need to be done.

Paint: generally good with some colour irregularities due to resprays, as well as imperfections, chips, wear and tear. 

Bodywork: In fairly good condition with some areas of rust and some patching - some panels will need to be replaced in time. It's an Alfa… Also, back bumper is broken on corner and screwed.

Upholstery: damage to driver's seat, footwell damaged from wear and water leakage. Otherwise generally good for age with some wear and tear.

Battery occasionally needs a boost if not driven for a while. Engine sounds great.

Recent improvements:

Soft top roof (replaced October 2020) – roof itself in immaculate condition (some rust on roof frame)

Radiator

Replacement pick-up module (second hand)

BRAND NEW fuel pump, rotor arm, HT leads, distributor cap (all new parts, replaced August 2021)

Includes car cover with printed number plate (see photos)

Also includes original owner's manual (in Italian), V5c and 17 years of receipts! MOT expires October 2021.
