Meet Oskar

1967 Volvo 122s. Car is in great running condition. Paint is original. I actually bought this car in Michigan and drove it to Texas. It will make long trips. Car was originally an automatic with a B18. It has since been upgraded to a B20 4 speed manual with dual SU carbs. All gauges work except the odometer. Mileage is unknown. Heater works. but has no A/C. Has new brake pads and rotors. fuel pump. and dash pad. original door and trunk keys.

I've tried to keep this car as original as possible. However. a few things have been modified.

Modifications: 1. Lowering Springs - I do have the original springs if you want to make it stock again. 2. Cragar wheels. 15x8 - I have the original wheels with tires along with the hubcaps. Original wheels are in good condition 3. Added tachometer. which I believe is very needed in these older cars. 4. IPD Electric ignition - removed points. 5. Engine push to start button - but it is very easy to remove. It still does require the key to operate. 6. IPD spark plug wires. 7. Upgraded ignition coil from IPD.

Extras: 1. I have a complete M41 transmission with overdrive that will come with the car. Just never got around to putting it in. 2. Extra Gauge cluster. 3. the original radio and antenna. 4. Other various parts.

The Bad: Very minimal rust. some bubbling on the outside trunk lid. The trunk itself is in good condition for this type of car. The spare wheel well is intact. Has normal wear and tear for a 50 year old car.  A few paint chips throughout and a very small ding on the passenger door.

I know some of you may frown at the modifications done to it. However. I did these modifications knowing someday I may need to make it all stock again. It is fun to drive and I have no issues with it. even with it being lowered. I take good care of the car and never rag on it or mistreat it. It is always garage kept. I have taken it as it sits now on long journeys with no problems.

From what I've seen. it's a rare car with a rare color. Car is located in Lewisville. TX

You mentioned it could be used as a daily driver. Do all gauges, wiper, horn, etc. work? Is it presently licensed. Any further info on the car would be appreciated. Thank you. Arnold
