This is a 1971 Triumph GT6 Mk3. The seller told me this has been off the road in storage since the early 1990s. I got in a package deal with other long time sitters. Got it back here to Arizona. Checked the fluids and the oil looked good . Tried turning the engine by hand. Nothing. Stuck. Pulled the plugs and put Marvel Mystery Oil down each hole and have let it pickle the last week or so. Still stuck. Was going to hook a chain to it it and tow it in gear but thought better of that. Did not want to break rings. etc. So the engine is stuck and of unknown history. Engine number is KF1227HE. Which should be the original engine. Paint code 66 -Valencia Blue. Trim Code 11- Black. Body Number 1232KF. This is a Southern California High Desert car. And rustfree and original as can be. When I picked it up. I thought it had no rust anywhere. But after mucking it out here. I took a pile of crap off the passenger floor and found rust on that floor because of the trapped moisture under the crap there. I tried to show picture from the bottom to show it. But that area. and part of the bottom of the battery box are pretty much it in the rust department. The rest of the car is knockout. Doubt there are as many GT6 bodies out there as clean as this. Especially one with original. never been repainted. never been worked anywhere Valencia Blue factory paint. Or what is left of it. I power washed it top and bottom and was amazed how clean and nice this body is. There are small dents here and there. both on the body and on the bumpers. ut this body is beautiful. if you are looking for a GT6 builder. I doubt you will find one as nice as this anywhere. This needs total restoration. in. out. op and bottom. But how many can you find out there this nice . original . rustfree and most of all. unplayed with over the years. What you see here is what you get. The drivers window glass is missing. though the door panel. vent window with glass. door hardware are included. Along with the factory air cleaner box. And at least 2 GT6 centercaps. The previous owner had visions of restoring this. but only got as far as redoing the factory steel rims and putting new tires on them. Take it from there and have one neat ride when you are done. I travel around the West Coast with my truck and trailer and might be able to get it to you or close. And can arrange trucking to Long Beach California shippers for overseas buyers for $300. Clean straight title.
