Wife wants it gone!  My loss is your gain!  You are bidding. or hopefully bidding on a 1974 VW Bug.   I've had the car for over 12 years and this is as far as I got.   Car is about 90 percent finished.   Here is a quick list of what was done:

Added adjustable lowered front end. added Acura seats and recovered. new Sew Fine carpet kit. door and quarter panel covers. new headliner. Scat shifter. custom steering wheel. shaved turn signals. dechromed. shaved hood handles. added lucas signals on the front.  Floor pans were replaced and are in good shape.  Has front and rear sway bars and both axel boots were replaced and repacked with grease.

Engine:  1776. lightened flywheel with the 5 dowel pin. new engine case. Engle W120 Cam. all new rod bearing. new cooling fan. plug wires. fuel pump. alternator. 90mm racing heads. and the list goes on.

Car Condition: Basically the car has been sitting up for about a year and has not been cranked so I'm sure that the gas will need to be drained and the jets in the carb will need a cleaning.   Car will crank up though. there appears to be a noise coming from the fan housing.   I don't know what it is but does not appear to be serious.   Car is sold as is and would not take much to get it finished.   I will also throw in a brand new set of the Porsche 914 (2 liter) rims to the winning bidder.   Tires still have plenty of tread but they are about 10 years old.   There is some rust foot well on the drivers side behind the wheel but should not be an issue fixing. Car has not been wrecked.   Front apron is in excellent condition.   I can send additional pics if needed.  There are a few little areas of potential rust around different areas of the car.  I still have the paint that was used and will include that.   I would not recommend trying to drive the car until everything is checked out. gas it drained out of tank and perhaps a carb cleaning. and good once around.

I got well over 10. 00 dollars in this car and I'm starting the bid at 4500 because I've got to get something for it.   I will be happy to assist in having the car shipped here in the continental US at the buyers expense.   Please feel free to ask me any questions about the car.

Thanks

Scott
