VW T25 Two Tone Camper

Here we go again.   As mentioned I have re-listed this due to a total time waster.

I am reluctantly selling my T25 camper. This has been my first project and I have taken it

as far as I can.

The camper has been perfect as a day bus and can be easily be adapted if wanted as a

standard camping van.

It has never missed a beat. Starts first time. Runs like a dream.

1987 Right Hand Drive

Manual – 5 Speed

Petrol Conversion _ Camper has been fitted with a MK2 Golf 1. 8GTI Petrol Engine – Has original diesel rev counter

Mileage 168805 (Not sure of actual mileage as this had been converted just before I purchased it 3 years ago from

a 1. 6 Diesel)

Engine has been fully serviced recently by Gasure.

Recently changed both rear break drums and spring set

Front brake pads have a good 60% left on them

6 Months MOT (Sailed through this)

No Tax - Has just ran out.

This T25 has been lowered and fitted with 5 stud 18” MRW Trims. New passenger tyre fitted.

Bespoke Exhaust (New back box fitted and adapted by Gasure)

The entire lower section has been recently re-sprayed. To do this I have had to replace;

Petrol cap panel (new cap and neck)

Nearside rear tall panel

Nearside Lower B Panel

Front bumper section below Grill. (I have photos documenting all this if needed).

All visible rust had been taken out from the whole lower section of the camper.

Sliding door step not fixed. allowing a hard floor or soundproofing to be laid under carpet. which is fitted through- out (new Oatmeal Carpet set from

VW Status). Front sections have been glued into place. Mid section and the back section are not.

Rock and Roll bed has been removed and re-fitted with a bench seat. The back section can be un-hooked and pushed to the back creating a bed section.

I have keep the original waist seat belts and also have set of two 3 point seat belts which need fitting.

Two curtain rails are also provided though have been removed when re-whitening the inner roof lining.

Gear lever snapped on me last month. This has been fully repaired with new gear lever bush and gear linkage.

Genuinely – there is very little left to do to make this complete.

Things left to do;

Rust above the front nearside jacking point. Bottom of B pillar.  

Sliding door runner has a small section of rust.

Inner sliding door sill.  

Back bumper has been dented.

Rear door card panels uncoated.

Drivers door has a new door seal which needs fitting

Front number plate chipped

Also comes with the T3 Bike Rack as seen in the photos.

If there is any more information needed please ask.

I have genuinely noted the bad points.
