You are looking at a very very very unique 1954 Studebaker Show Truck. you will not see another one like this!  Don't wait or it will be gone before you have a chance to bid! Trophy Truck. Tens of thousands invested.

 

Fresh Restoration from the world famous Jim Cranmer of Jim's Restoration in Denver. Colorado.  A pioneer in the field of "faux-tina" restoration. Jim Cranmer has perfected the art of taking a restored truck and crafting it to look as if the original patina were still there on the truck.  This proprietary process is one that involves 200+ man hours of prep. paint and finish. just for the body alone!  Each fauxtina truck is different with its own unique features and finish.

 

The attention to detail on this truck is incredible. The mirrors. bed. body. glass. interior. gauges. etc. all made to look “old” while having modern amenities.

Frame off restoration completed in 2012.

 

Body:

 

-1954 Studebaker R model truck

-All the original steel taken down to bare metal. prepped. sanded. primed and professionally painted Fauxtina by Jim Cranmers restoration shop in Denver. CO. No Bondo.

-Bed has been sectioned in front of rear fenders.

-Custom roll pan.

-Cadillac taillights have been frenched in.

-Headlights are Auto Loc tri bar with blue dots and integrated amber turn signals.

-Billet Specialties bullet caps over holes of windshield washer arms.

-Custom ALUMINUM diamond plate bed on hinges for access to frame / exhaust / fuel.

-Custom steel hosing for air ride compressor with original Studebaker tailgate.

-Studebaker emblem on rear tailgate done by famous hot rod pinstripper.

 

Frame:

 

-Fully custom one off frame out of 2x4 box steel professionally built.

-Full $3800 Air ride w Firestone bags.  Front cross member can lay on ground or be 5" up. Rear same. Just AWESOME.

-Zd front and rear

-Tubular A arm Mustang 2 front suspension.

-Mustang 2 manual rack and pinion steering. Front Disc Brakes.

-Flaming River steering U joints.

-Chrome steering column.

-Rear end is a Ford 8" 3:55 Posi with 4 link and panhard bar.

-There are KYB shocks on all 4 corners as well.

 

Motor:

 

-383 Stroker motor. Tricked out. 3500 miles on motor. Runs amazing and sounds even better. 400 hp. Tons of torque.

-Has very nice sounding lopey cam.

-Pete Jackson gear drive.

-Weiand intake.

-Edelbrock high volume water pump.

-Edelbrock fuel pump.

-Edelbrock performer 650 carb. with 1" riser

9"x5" K&N air filter.

-3" exhaust all the way back to the Flowmaster 40 series mufflers

Old cars are just that. old cars. You need to ship it home. Out on the road. many miles from home is not the place to get familiar with your old car. Obviously we cannot stop you. but this is our recommendation.

 

Mileage is Exempt.

Unless we have some documentation we always sell classic cars as mileage exempt. That means we do not know the original miles. What we list in the ad is what the odometer currently reads or is based off rebuild information of the engine and or body/chassis. Also. you cannot do a Carfax or Autocheck on any VEHICLE older than a 1981.
