1973 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE KARMANN CONVERTIBLE for sale

Bought as a 40th Birthday present in 2007. the car has had only limited use during the summer months since and has been permanently garaged throughout our ownership.

The Karmann convertible model is left hand drive and was first registered in the US in 1973. It was imported to the UK in 1987.  

It is a lovely looking car. cream colour with black convertible hood and alloy wheels. The bodywork is in very good condition and mechanically the car is sound having been well maintained. An 1800cc re-conditioned engine was fitted by the previous owner. which I believe has done in the region of 8. 00 miles. The car comes with a full 12 months MOT.

The hood is in need of repair in one area of c4 inches in length; re-stitching only. The front seats have been replaced and are in good condition but the rear seat is original and in poor condition. Internally the car is in need of some attention. but wouldn't require a significant investment of time and money.

I'm happy to consider any sensible offer for the car.
