Imported from South Africa in April 2012.   The bus went through a full bare metal restoration. receiving a significant number of substantial upgrades.   In August 2013. the engine was completely reconditioned and rebuilt by Chase Engineering Services. and benefits from a 36. 00 mile or 12 month warranty.

Registered with the DVLA as having been manufactured in 1975 (it is a 15 window VW Fleetline; an original RHD splitscreen bus built by VW South Africa. after the European run of splitscreen manufacturing had ceased).

The bus was being restored to the highest possible specification in preparation for my wedding and honeymoon in September 2012.   The deadline was missed and the budget overspent several times (£45. 00 spent in purchasing and restoring).   This is also the reason for sale!

The bus was trimmed by Matt Leach. who has trimmed a number of award winning busses. in March 2013 in the deluxe line style.   The cab seats are burgundy leather and door cards off white vinyl.

The rear of the bus remains empty (with the exception of the classic VW perforated roof liner and door cards. again by Matt Leach).   It was booked in (with deposit paid) for a bespoke camper fit out with Kustom Interiors March 2014. however this may be forefeited (any purchaser may be able to maintain this booking and take advantage of the circa £1. 00 deposit I have already paid KI for the camper build).

Since completion. the bus has been used as a daily runner. for local and motorway journeys.
