Welcome to the auction for my Austin 1000 van.   I purchased this van 5 years ago from a local farmer.   It had been in the same family from new and I've been advised the mileage is correct but I have no paperwork to guarantee this.

 

I have restored this van to a high standard over the 5 years I've owned it.   The engine has been stripped and found to be all standard pistons and crank.

 

I have fitted new crank bearings as a matter of course.   I've fitted a duplex timing chain and I've de-coked the head.   I've also fitted a new water pump and gasket set throughout.   The braking system is completely new including copper brake pipes and all cylinders.   All oils and fluids have been changed.   A new prop oil seal and diff have been fitted.   This is a list of some of the new parts from Bull Motif Morris 1000 specialist which have been used in the restoration (receipts available):

The passenger door has been changed for a good second hand one. the van is all steel - no fibre-glass panels have been used.   Part of the roof gutters have been replaced on the van body. the cab gutters are original.   The van is completely standard apart from the steering wheel and front seats.   I have the original steering wheel and one seat which can be included if required.   All numbers match and there are no advisories on the MOT.
