1973 Dodge Dart Sport Six Pack 340 for sale

The car is a 1973 Dodge Dart Sport. The car is factory code G (Engine 318) and it came with a 904 transmission with a differential Dana 44 (8 ¼). This equipment was replaced with an engine from a 1971 340 Cuda. We installed a 727 transmission and a Chrysler differential (8 ¾) with 489 Case. The car was completely restored as a Dodge Dart Sport 340. The painting on this car is Chroma Base. It was painted in 2010. The sidelines are original and the hood and rear were painted as factory. The upholstery. dash pad. floor carpet. and doors panels were bought in Legendary Interiors with all the original texture and shape. The steering wheel is new (Tuff Wheel) and all wiring is new.

 

The engine was completely restored. Engine has new TRW Forged pistons 10. 5:1. (. 30 over) full floating. Also Forged rods and crankshaft. The engine was completely balanced and all its bearings and bushings were mounted using plastic gauge. All main bearings and rod bearings brand are Clevite 77. All gaskets are Felpro brand. New Melling Oil Pump High Volume and the pickup tube. New water pump and new hoses. Mopar Performance Double Roller Timing Set with a 3 stage for future adjustments for drag racing. The cam is a Mopar Purple Cam Specs. 284/484. with the corresponding springs. The heads are (J) code with valves 202/160 also ported and polished. The ignition pencil is also new which completes a total new engine. New Six Pack kit with air filter and full automatic linkage. The intake manifold is an original ceramic 1970 Cuda AAR. Full MSD system. has a set of custom valve covers hand made. It has a new air conditioning system. Great cooling!! The transmission is a 727 with all TCI parts with a converter of 2800 RPM also with a valve body from Cheetah Racing. Has Headers TTI system with ceramic and it has a Cut Out electronic system to open headers. New complete Accurate Exhaust system 3” in stainless steel with Flow Master's muffler also all hanger's and tail tips are original in stainless. The drive shaft is made out of Chrome-moly and has also been balanced. The undercarriage of this car was completely restored. New Richmond Gear 489 case ring. pinion (3. 91:1) and new ball bearings. New Mancini Posi-Traction with new axle's 5x4 ½ with long studs from Strange Engineering. New front brake discs R1 Concepts Drill. New calipers. new rear brakes. All hoses and brake lines are new. The complete suspension system is polyurethane from SPT. Front arm plates are new. Rear springs are brand new Mopar Stage 1. Rally wheels 14x7 in the front and 15x8 in the rear from Year One. Also the wheels center caps and rings are new. Body of the car is original. All parts were sandblasted and the whole body has been RESTORED to originality. This car was built with the option to be a daily driver or with the option to be drag in the track if desired. This car has not been driven on the track yet; it was a decision to build it with the best of the best. We have invested over $65. 00 in parts and restoration.
