Let us start with the origins of this superbly finished Classic Escort GHIA. Originally Registered to a local gent. called Harold. from Kirkby in Ashfield on 01/08/1983. He had the car for nearly 13 years before selling it to another local family from Mansfield on 26/03/1996 with approximately 23000 miles. The current family bought the car for the mother of the family. She ran the car locally until she unfortunately passed away in 2005/6. At that point her husband and current registered keeper. could not bring himself to sell this much loved car. so registered it in his name and then dry stored it from that point. only getting it out to maintain its MOT history. Having done approx. 400 miles in the last 8 years. purely to take for MOT's and to keep things moving etc.
