The car has gone thru a ten year long restoration that included new floors. inner and outer rockers. and new trunk pan. The chassis was well preserved thanks to a regular supply of oily mist. A bare metal re-spray of its original color and bonnet stripes. The interior has been refurbished including a new dashboard. new Moto Lita wooden rim steering wheel. new wool carpets. and completely refurbished seats. All of the gauges work. including a boost/vacuum gauge and a fuel consumption ratio monitoring gauge that works with 2 oxygen sensors are installed in header.    The surrey top assembly is a factory aluminum unit and it has been refurbished.

Matching numbers drive train. VIN is CD2838L

 

A British sport car is not complete without wire wheels. They are 72 spokes chrome shod with 205-70-15 Pirelli's. The rear drums are now finned aluminum and front and rear tube shocks are installed. nbsp;Spax in front.  Under the bonnet lurks an Eaton supercharger M62 3rd generation fed by a huge SU HD8 and a stainless steel header. and cold air induction.   The original distributor was rebuilt by Advance Distributors. New Stainless steel dual exhaust with O2 sensors installed.

 

I have the original carbs. shocks. etc. . and they are included in the sale. Also a custom fitted car cover is also included.   Spare tire. jack. etc. . are part of the sale as well. Many other spare parts too. Includes owners. maintenance and parts manuals too.    

 

This is not a #1 trailer queen and I drive it when the weather cooperates. I have entered the car in 2 vintage car shows PVGP 2011 and British Cars at Hartwood Acres and won first place 1st place in Triumph Class!

Hi, It appears as though you sold this car awhile back maybe to the current owner who has it listed for sale…Wilson Motors. Hopefully you don't mind me asking, but the dealer doesn't seem to know all that much about the restoration work that was done. Do you happen to know how extensively the engine was rebuilt if at all? or was the supercharger simply added on without much in the way of an engine rebuild? Again, thanks in advance for your help.
