here is a 1964 mk 1 Cortina super. in need of complete restoration. its a genuine 1 owner vehicle (purchased new by my grandfather) it has a genuine 88. 00 on the clock and has been dry stored for the last 22 years. we recently got it out. cleaned the points and with a good battery and dummy fuel tank it started quite easily. the body work as you can see is very bad but 90% of the interior is in excellent condition. for the age. I am told that it is also quite rare as it has a column gear change. most of the lights/ controls etc do work when the good battery is connected. it is of course not driveable in its current state as the brakes and clutch are seized up. I have been informed by dvla that it is still registerd in my grandfathers name and the logbook is available but is not present. if anyone has any questions please ask and between me and my father we will do our best to answer them. buyer will need to arrange collection. thanks!
