1952 Volkswagen Beetle split window coupe - 63K original miles, unrestored! for sale

For sale by long-term owner since 1999 - 1952 Volkswagen VW Beetle. split window coupe with working semaphore turn signals. Previously purchased by the owner of Indianapolis VW dealership in approximately 1974. That owner repainted the car and then stored it for 25 years. Current owner purchased in 1999.   Replaced tires and most other rubber components. Interior is not original but is very presentable.   63. 00 original miles. unrestored. nearly museum quality car that needs nothing to enjoy it right now. It has no visible rust issues. all original body panels. etc. never been wrecked. tampered with or modified.  Couple of minor cosmetic defects noted in the pictures. Carb was just rebuilt last week due to it sitting awhile. Car was driven to a local show this weekend. operates without any issues in braking. shifting. accelerating. etc.  Choke is not operable. Comes with VW manual in photo.

A deposit of $1K will be required within 24 hours of close of auction. to be made by Paypal.   Balance will be due by wire transfer within 3 business days.   All shipping and arrangements are at the expense of the buyer. Seller will cooperate with transport and can hold car for a short while in the heated garage where it's lived for many years.  

 

Take the opportunity to own a very unique and rare vintage VW. Very few in this original. unmolested shape are still in existence today.   Buy and add to your collection to show or drive.
