This car came in from the USA earlier this year. it was going to be used to reshell a Lotus Cortina MK1 but plans have changed as the Mk1 Cortina1500GT`s are more rare than the Mk1 Lotus Cortina`s and command extremely good value when restored.
This car comes with a Nova certificate which the DVLA will require when registering. DVLA will also require a valid Mot. unfortunatly the shipping companies have lost the USA title document but proof of the cars identity can be got from the vin and the Cortina club or similar which DVLA will accept
This is a very solid car with only minor rust as it has been dry stored in a warehouse in Califoria for 35 years. it does however have a small amount of damage on the righthand rear corner which would be an easy fix.
Comes as is with all parts pictured including the original Cortina radio. at some point in its life it has had coil over front legs fitted. guess someone thought about racing it but didn`t get any further than that.
