Opel Manta Exclusive Coupe. Dolphin Grey

 

84k. 3 owners from new.   MOT July 2014. taxed October 2013.   Original specification including stereo. Original documentation including service book & sales literature.  

 

Has undergone a light restoration by previous owner including replacement sills. rear arches and complete respray approximately 2 years ago.   

 

The underneath is completely waxoyled and in good condition.   The swan necks have been repaired previously and the jacking points are in good condition.

 

I have recently had the radiator re-cored with triple core. new thermostat & long-life anti-freeze. 2 new tyres. gearbox seals replaced. engine & gearbox oil changed. new backbox. semiconductor voltage regulaor and new battery.

 

The car drives great and handles really well. the only issue is the front wheels need re-balancing although they aren't too bad.

 

The bad points are that the headlining has not been re-fitted yet and the sunroof surround is showing an area of previous repair and small rust bubbles.   Both lower door frames have some small rust bubbles showing and one small area on top of the wing. These are only just starting to show and don't detract from the overall appearance of the car. The bodywork does show some imperfections under the paint from the previous repairs if viewed closely.

 

Overall a very tidy car with all the hard work done and can be used without worrying too much about it.   Great retro car and the Exclusive coupe model in this condition does not come up for sale very often so be quick!
