Welcome to the auction of my 1958 beetle. I purchased the car early this year. its a right had drive model imported from Sri Lanka. I'm the first uk owner. Being a 1958 beetle. it shares a lot of the same parts as an oval window bug. this is the first of the big window models. The car is in really great condition for the year. the floors are solid and so are the heater channels. As far as I'm aware the car has loads of original parts. steering wheel. wings etc. the engine and chassis number match. so I believe its the same engine. The interior is in great shape. seat cover and the heading is really different. The car has been serviced. electronic ignition. plugs. oil. oil filter etc. full brake and brake line over hall. all electronics checked. It drives really well. The car has been lowered all round  tastefully . drop spindals on the front. with lower profile tyres. I've hardly used the car since I've owned it as I had been working on my other beetle project. which took far longer than expected. The plan was to spend time and a lot more time and money on making the car a real show stopper. but a change of circumstances is forcing the reluctant quick  sale. I. selling the car at a really good price. its priced to sell not to haggle. as you will find the same year model beetle being offered for sale at a far more expensive price. I need a quick sale. The car needs a few little things such as a wiper arm. and tail pipes. really quick cheap easy jobs. its a cracking car I would recommend viewing as it an old vehicle and as such that needs to be taking into account before bidding. please no time wasters. just people who are looking to buy a piece of vw history.
