Where do I start without wishing to become boring. I bought this car 4 years ago from someone I know slightly ( still in contact ) & the original intention was to use it as a donor car. Decided it was too good to scrap so restored to roadworthy condition. History First reg here in Northern Ireland 22/06/1983 as SIJ 142 Cherished reg put on car 02/06/1986  XJI 7215  ( this will stay with the car ) 2nd owner 01/03/1999 3rd owner ( me ) 01/12/2012 current owner I have the original green registration document as well as the old blue V5 one. M. O. T. 14/07/1999   mileage  9385 27/07/2000   mileage 10315 03/09/2001   mileage 10756 15/03/2004  mileage  11739 26/06/2015  mileage  11974 23/06/2016  mileage  12524 current mileage 12755 I put all this down as it is showing as an extremely low mileage car. It was off the road for a number of years prior me buying it. It has only covered 3370 miles in 17 years. The history covers that. Previously I have no records whatsoever. It may have had a change of speedo but I honestly have no idea. The good stuff although I will generalize a bit as much to much to list individually. Full new stainless steel exhausts fitted 1998 ( worth probably around £1000 at todays prices. Both door sills & end plates replaced. genuine Jaguar parts. New outer headlamp buckets Brakes. new discs rear. new pads all round. all calipers reconditioned. new pipes as required. ew brake master cylinder. New battery. new belts & filters ( including gearbox ). New thermostat. New oils & antifreeze. Anti roll bar bushes. ball joints. swinging arms & bushes etc as required. Both fuel tank senders replaced. New tyres. less than 1000 miles on them. New head lining. Radio & electric ariel in good working order. Oil pressure. charging & temperature all as they should be. Central locking works. Tool kit & jack etc. Also original handbooks etc. The bad bits. When doing the headlining. we took out the sunroof. It has never gone back as it should & on top of that. whilst working on it . it got badly scratched. Sun roof panel has been resprayed & sealed in closed position. Switch disconnected so as not to try & open by accident. Car is kept on drive & no leaks. off side interior light not working. Have tried but for some reason refuses to play ball. Paint stain spill on boot mat. Piece of carpet covers it well. When first starting off. gearbox is a bit slow to operate as it should. This usually sorts it self out after about 1/2 mile. If you live in a speed limit area it will be no issue really but as said. soon sorts herself out. I have been onto a number of Jaguar forums & spoken to a number of Jaguar ( & former Jaguar ) owners. It would seem this is not as uncommon as you would expect. I spoke to previous owner & he said it was the same when he had her. She has the usual scratches. dints & marks as you should expect. I have spent far more than I will ever get back. If this was my only classic car I would give her a good respray to finish off but as she is. she is good for going out on runs or even everyday if needed. A couple of the pictures are from a big show earlier this year. Other pics are today. Any questions call Richard 07767882121. You are welcome to go for a test drive as car taxed at present. I am close to both Belfast airports as well as the Belfast ferry terminals. Bit further to Larne but not much. This car is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to remove at my discretion. No tyre kickers please. This car is not perfect & I have tried to be as accurate & honest as I can. I expect you to be the same. Feel free to call me if you have a genuine question.   I expect £250 deposit within 24 hours of auction closing. Paypal will be acceptable. Cash on collection or cheques/bankers draft cleared before car released. I can deliver to ferry ports here for free. To Dublin or uk provided my expenses are paid before I leave. Happy bidding
