1975 Triumph Stag. MK2 original V8 ENGINE Auto in yellow with Black Interior -

I have owned this car for many years and have spent many hours and hundreds of pounds on it.

Car drives really well. Sounds great and gets many complimentary comments and looks.

 

Huge amount of work has been carried out.

 

New parts listed below fitted within the last 1000miles

COOLING: New radiator. Hoses. Plug leads. Distributor cap.

STEERING: New track rod end's. and reconditioned steering rack

BRAKE'S:- New front brake pad's. recon front callipers and New discs. New rear brake cylinder's. brake shoe's and drums. Hand brake cable. solid and flexible brake pipe's. New master cylinder and servo.

ELECTRIC'S:- New battery. New alternator. New complete dip and main lamps. re conditioned starter. electronic ignition. all electrics that was needed was replaced during full body restoration

EXHAUST: Full stainless

HARDTOP. useable hard top. [That I have not used it]. its been in a shed since I bought the car.

SOFT TOP Good soft top with clear-ish rear window ( couple of small wear marks if being picky)

CHROME WORK: is all in good/reasonable condition with many new parts changed for refurbishment. Some odd vary light pitting. [All the good chromers are dead] Chrome removed from wind screen surround as I was going to get a new windscreen fitted. The screen has a few small marks around its edges but they do not interfere with vision of the road.

PAINT WORK A £4500 full repaint including New rear wings New front wings New inner sills. New outer sills. New doors. All now in excellent condition having been totally restored. [even the Inner sills. a swine of a job. have been fully replaced with genuine parts on refurbishment] No expense spared any tin-work that needed replacing was.

WHEEL'S + TYRE'S:- 5 original Stag revamped alloys. Small chip on one. Tyres good with plenty of tread.

INTERIOR:- New carpet set. new boot carpet set. New door panel's. New seals. New sun visors. all woodwork -dash - in good condition. rear seat's are all in good condition. Passenger seat is in good condition but some slight wear on piping on drivers seat.

EXTERIOR: Very Good. /strong> 

Allthough it is a superb Triumph Stag it is not sold or implied to be concourse.

Obviously I cannot give any guarantees – This is a 37 year old classic car and no doubt like all cars there will be something's that could go wrong. sold as seen. great condition – Most major issues have been well covered by recent work.

I only use for occasional summer use. not used in winter and has been garaged every night.

I took it off the road 2007 to refurbish it and the 2007 MOT shows 97875 miles and now has done 98550 miles This refurbishment work was finished in September 2011

In a classic car garage this Stag would be £8K plus.

Re-Priced at £5000 for quick sale. what I believe is a very realistic price ONO.
