This particular Z06 was purchased in Arizona in 2002. The first owner held the car for about a year and determined that it was just too much car for him with the high horsepower and aggressive suspension and upgraded brakes. The second owner purchased the car in 2003 and held it until April 2015. At that point I purchased the car in Scottsdale as the third owner and drove it home to Southern California. It remains unmodified .

Condition of this particular car:

At only 57. 948 miles this car is in excellent shape and shows very nicely as a result of the care that it has received from the previous senior owners. The Quick silver paint is in beautiful condition. showing a lustrous shine. The black dash pad is crack free and the seats. door panels. headliner are in excellent condition.  The gauges are clear and the entire interior is spotless. The engine bay is clean and no fluid leaks! A/C blows cold and all electronics function perfectly. Brand new wheels and tires. Windows freshly tinted. Stereo functions and sounds awesome with the Bose speakers.

All maintenance up to date. running Mobil 1 Synthetic. Coolant system was flushed and refilled with coolant in Spring 2016. This car can bee driven anywhere.

Drivability:

The car is a real pleasure to drive. it starts easily. idles smoothly. shifts smartly. has a smooth clutch. tracks straight. brakes well and does not overheat. The car has INCREDIBLE power and torque from the 405+ hp engine but is an easy car to drive in traffic and on the freeway. The emergency brake is fully functional. The body is tight with no rattles or squeaks. In short. this Z06 functions like the very low mileage car that it is. probably nearly as when new.

Performance:

Factory performance figures for the 405 hp version of the Z06 gives an acceleration time from 0-60 mph as 3. 9 seconds. Car and Driver recorded 1/4 mile times of 12. 4 seconds for the 405 hp Z06 in their December 2002 issue.

Starting with the 2002 model year. the LS6 engine was up-rated to 405 horsepower by means of a larger volume air intake. stiffer valve springs. lighter sodium filled valves. more aggressive cam phasing and lift. revised pistons. and revised block. While Chevrolet officially claimed that the ultimate power output of the LS6 was 405 horsepower. many dynamometer tests shown that Chevrolet underrated the engine by 20 hp. giving it an actual total of 425 horsepower.

The Corvette comes with a custom car cover w/C 5 logo on front. Also comes with a custom window shade for front windshield w/C 5 logo.
