Here for sale is my much loved Escort 1300E in beautiful sunset red.    Registered in January 1975 and a 4 door model.

According to the 1300E owners club there was only ever 4000 4 doors and 7000 2 doors made. in turn making this car one of the rarer models.

It has been fitted with a 2. 0 Zetec  engine and upgraded 5 speed box. by the former owner. giving it just  short of 150bhp (see picture).   It really is fun and a joy to drive.   Alloys fitted as shown but also comes with the original steel wheels (x5).    MK1 RS 3-spoke steering wheel has been fitted (original wheel with the sale as well).  

Former keeper had the car re-sprayed 5-6 years ago and the underneath is solid and has been wax-oiled.   The rear window grill is something I haven't seen elsewhere since having the car so I assume that's a rare piece to come across as well.

Taxed until 30 September 2013 and MOT due June 2014 (renewed 3 weeks ago).   Only done just over 1000 miles since last May (car shows and weekend enjoyment mostly).   When not used it has been garaged and covered.   It was not used in winter or wet conditions.

There are a few areas of minor bubbling (end of bonnet. bottom of one door. rear arch) and a couple of minor scratches.   There is also a little roughness on the front window strut.   Just trying to cover as much as possible.

hi..this a long shot but I recently brought this car off of jon who got it off you. I really need the engine number off of the zetec engine that's in it. did you put it in ?ive hunted but the engine number is hidden behind everything so I cant access it and I need it for the log book and insurance company.
