1949 CHEVROLET FLEETLINE DELUX 216ci

1949 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe - 216ci. One Owner.
This cars condition and providence is amazing. rust free. nbsp;really must be seen in person to appreciate.   One owner from new.
From 1973 to 2016 the car was in dry storage and was bought from the original owner's grandson. (contact information and correspondence with him will be available to the new owner).  Car has lots of historical paperwork including original factory inspection sheet. sales paperwork from the selling dealer as well as 1949 title. has original under hood factory stickers. spare tyre and jack - complete with instructions.  Even has the period 1950's rear blue dot tail lights.  Naturally all of the trim (inside and out) is with the car. nbsp;removable rear wheel spats are included too.
For nearly 70 years old the chrome is great too.  The mileage reads 61. 00 and the grandson is 99% sure that is genuine.  The cars condition seems to reaffirm that.
For originality the period 6 volt battery is included. although a new one has been fitted.
The interior is unbelievable. one sign of wear on the drivers door. believe everything works. lights. horn. vacuum wipers and interior light.  Turn signals are temperamental though.
The carburetor was cleaned. battery replaced and fresh heater hoses and thermostat installed. now the engine sounds like a sewing machine.  Car shifts smoothly and transmission is tight.  Drives fine.  The brakes will need attention as they don't work. have used the emergency brake to stop so far.
The car has never been painted but the slightly mismatching rear drivers door has been replaced. the paint is original so its not perfect. please look at the pictures carefully. it will be up to the new owner to repaint or preserve.  There are some creases. nbsp;especially in the rear passenger quarter. so again look carefully at the pictures.

There is no MOT with this vehicle. nbsp;registration has been left for the new owner so that thy will be the first registered owner in this country (very easy to do).
All taxes and import duties have been paid. nova numbers in hand.
