1984 Mercedes 200 Cream Auto W123 Classic 83K Miles

Thank you for taking the time to ponder buying a classic Mercedes:  'Pearl' Our 1984 Cream W123 Mercedes Saloon. We purchased her in a moment of nostalgia in May 2012 and she has been our second car ever since.  The previous two owners kept her in a heated garage so her coachwork was in particularly good condition for her year when she came to us and we have kept her in a good running condition since.  She has never been just a Sunday driver whilst with us but regularly used and a reliable motor vehicle that starts first turn and runs impeccably for a 32 year old. Shortly after we purchased her in 2012 we indulged her with a full service at Albert Lock Mercedes Specialist of Rushden who replaced the door vacuum cells. serviced the carburetor. spark plugs. distributor cap etc and rectified electrical faults with the windows and electric sunroof. Since then we have kept her roadworthy with regular garage services and MOT repairs.
In 2014 She had her rear wheel arches brushed and resprayed In 2015 She had all her outer and inner sills repaired by StyleHaus of St Peters Way Northampton. This year in August she had a major service to maintain her condition at MOT time which included new front brake discs and pads. new front wheel bearings. brake hoses and fuel filter as well as a gearbox top up and vacuum locking check. (See caveat points below)So currently she has a full mot until the end of August 2017. She is currently on 83. 40 miles but this will go up as she is being used daily I have all the MOT's back as far as 2004 when she was recorded at 55475 milesI have a fistful of invoices dating back to 1996 when she was recorded at 29062 milesOutside the Coachwork is in remarkable condition for a car of this age and apart from the odd scratch and small chip here and there she is looking good Inside the upholstery is also in good order with minimal wear to the interior and a few age related marks to the seats Overall 8/10 There is a rear tow bar and electrics attached however I have never used this. The Car drives really lovely and the gearbox is smooth and efficient. Because she has spent so much time out of the rain the chrome is in very good condition
She receives compliments everywhere we go now and is currently listed on TVtalentsupermarket where she will hopefully gain some employment as a TV or Film Extra in the near future. (Transferable to the new owner at no extra cost : Earnings potential circa £300 per day)We are only selling as we now need a 7 seater to accommodate our business. In fabulous condition however with a small amount of time and energy she could be returned to concourse condition. Caveat Points to be taken into consideration:Rear offside electric window inoperable (never used or investigated fault)Middle rear arm rest inoperable ( Needs fixing back in )Car Vacuum central locking only works just after turning off / on engine as leak somewhere (needs further investigation). When there is torrential rain the car boot does get damp (Same as every other classic Mercedes I have ever owned)
I have looked and am unable to find a car similar in age in the same condition as 'Pearl' She is not perfect but is in excellent all round condition and would make an ideal classic car for an enthusiast of Mercedes.
Cash on collection: Viewing and inspection welcome. I live in Higham Ferrers in the Middle of the Country NN10 8EG . She is currently insured with Classic insurance at around £100 annually Fully Comprehensive for me.
