The current owner likes his cars to be completely sorted mechanically so in the past two years much has been done to this 1974 VW Thing to get it running and driving perfectly.

VW Things are so fun to own. They are like a transformer and they can be utilitarian with the rear seats folded down for cargo. they can be safari vehicles with the doors removed and the windshield folded down. or they can be passenger vehicles with all the seats up. VW Things are one of the only four door convertibles ever made.

 And amazingly this VW Thing is still in original paint! It looks great.  As it sits it is a very authentic Thing that should continue to increase in value as original vehicles are typically among the highest valued examples.
