VERY RARE 1962 MK1 MG MIDGET 948CC EXCELLENT CONDITION RESTORED CAR for sale

This is a first series April 1962 948cc car that has had only four owners from new and has an indicated mileage of 41755 miles with an MOT history from the 1980's to back this up.

The car is in excellent order and drives very well indeed with no issues – it is ready to tour! 
This car was stored from the late 1980's and returned to the road in 2003 following a restoration. It has had little use since and has always been garage kept which as the pictures show reflects in its condition.
The work carried out included all the sills. arches. floors. bulkhead. chassis members. wings. all brakes. shocks. fuel tank. dashboard and trim etc  - the list goes on but all the work has been carried out to an excellent standard allowing this rare little car to be enjoyed for many years to come.
The car has been serviced in January which is when it also got its latest clean MOT. It has been checked over by us and we can report it is excellent in every way. There are not many of these cars around in this condition and we think there may be less than fifty in the country - please check 'how many left' to see for yourself.
This car comes with the original drivers' handbook and the removable soft top is very easy to fit and remove – it is even quite watertight!
Any test or inspection is welcome. We would rate the condition of this car as 8. 5/10 – for the purest you may choose to add in the chrome strips to the side and bonnet and two of the wheel caps are from a Morris Minor rather than the original MG and you could choose to replace the seats although we love the originality and comfort of them. The number plate has been changed and assigned an age related one but is still three letters and three numbers.
If you are an avid MG fan or are looking for a sound investment the rarity of this vehicle means you can enjoy true classic driving and it is very likely to increase in value – there are not many fifty four year old cars in this order with all the money needed already invested.
