Triumph TR7 Sprint FHC Triumph TR7 Sprint FHC Welcome to the sale of my Triumph TR7 Sprint.
I hope you can see this is a beautiful. restored example of the iconic Triumph wedge. restoration completed approximately 2006/7. the car has covered only 900 miles from then to the present day!
The car has been garaged ever since.
Restoration works were deep. the car completely stripped. new floors. and panels fitted to ensure this car was rust free. I have a pictorial log of the restoration process to show the depths of works carried out to a very high standard of workmanship.
The car is a FHC without sunroof. super strong. ideal for historic rally competition if required. All suspension components have been stripped. re-bushed and painted. the car does drive very well still a tight and level drive.
I purchased the car with the Sprint engine and 5 speed gearbox fitted. Is it an original factory Sprint. I asked myself?
According to my research. I don’t think so. probably a little early. it is a Speke built car. it’s ID numbers are chassis - ACG3941. engine - CG004103HE. First registered 1st March 1977. there is sure to be a TR expert looking. able to tell me every detail.
As I hope you can see this car has had an open cheque book. engine rebuilt and fast road cam fitted. every auxiliary item stripped and painted. body work stripped to bare metal. de-rusted and built back up. it still looks fantastic 10 years on. I have had every brake stripped. cleaned and rebuilt. it has required time and effort in recommissioning the car. bringing it back to scratch.
The interior has a great colour combination in my opinion. leather seats. dash top and trimmings. it looks great and smells even better. all super clean condition.

Super rust free body. (There are some tiny blisters on the roof. they are tiny!)

This is a TR7 in super/show condition. mechanically sound now looking for a new and very lucky owner. sure to be happy with this investment/fun car.
