1965 Lotus Élan S2
Taxed and Mot to June 2017
The car has been confirmed by Lotus archives that the car left the factory on the 2nd April 1965
and was subsequently registered on the 15th April 1965.
The car comes with the certificate of provenance from the factory and accompanying letter.
The car was rebuilt by Vegatune approx. 1979/1980 Where they fitted a 5 speed gearbox and a S4 bonnet.
The last owner purchased the car from Vegatune 1980.
The car is registered in my name and the V5 shows 2 former keepers.
The car has 24 past mot certificates from Sept 1992 to June 2017
The mileage shown on the 1992 mot is 31. 11. the mileage on the 2017 mot is 49. 84
The present Mileage is 49. 03.
The car has service history with 23 service invoices from 1989 up to 2017. the invoices show that £20. 30. 73 has been spent on the car during this time.
A new Lotus galvanised chassis was fitted to the car by Morland Jones ltd Lotus Specialists
London on the 23. Nov 2006.
